President Uhuru Kenyatta, on Friday, declared that pupils in grade 6 under the new curriculum will not be subjected to the final exams.
The President was speaking during the third national Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) conference held at the KICC.
The head of state revealed that the task force formed by CS Magoha had come up with recommendations including that the lower secondary, which is grade 7,8 and 9 should now be domiciled in the secondary schools.
The conference was attended by more than 2000 delegates from all over the country and presided by CS Magoha.
However, KNUT officials were locked out of the event.
